Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team. As a Paraprofessional, you will provide support and assistance to students in an educational setting.

Your role will involve working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the academic and social success of students.


Duties:


  • Assist in implementing educational programs and lesson plans under the guidance of the classroom teacher
  • Provide oneonone or small group support to students with special education needs
  • Support students in developing literacy and math skills
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials
  • Provide support during field trips, extracurricular activities, and other school events

Experience:


  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
  • Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students with autism or other special needs
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certification)
  • Clear background check and fingerprinting
  • Valid driver's license (if required for offsite activities)
  • Ability to pass any required training or certifications

Pay:
$ $31.35 per hour
