Mindful Roots is a premier provider of after school sports clinics and yoga for elementary and middle schools. Our mission is to inspire and empower young minds through sports, fostering physical activity, teamwork, and personal growth.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled athletics/sports instructor to lead engaging indoor sports classes for elementary and middle school students.

As an Athletics Instructor at Mindful Roots, you will guide students through the following activities over 5 weeks:
corn-hole, ring-toss, ladder-toss, darts and boxing.

Responsibilities:

Conduct hourlong classes that cater to varying skill levels and abilities.
Effectively communicate instructions and demonstrate proper techniques for activities such as cornhole, ringtoss, laddertoss, darts, and boxing.
Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate activities over a 5week period, ensuring a wellrounded and dynamic program.
Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and positive behavior among students.

Qualifications:

Strong athletic background with proficiency in multiple sports or activities, demonstrating the ability to adapt and effectively teach the fundamentals to students of varying skill levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate young students.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a group of students effectively.
Background check required.
