The Product Management team works closely with our customers, sales & marketing teams to identify attractive vertical markets and customer needs and work with our engineers to guide products from conception to launch.

As part of the Product Management team, you bridge technical and business worlds as you design new products with highly skilled engineers and then focus on working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to launch the products.

As part of Product Management, you can be instrumental in development of our next innovative video system products


Responsibilities:


  • Provide market driven product solutions aligned to the business strategy by identifying new business opportunities, analyzing the market, the competition, new technology, and new industry product developments
  • Conduct market research and user experience studies in partnership with customers in their work environments
  • Plan and conduct field testing of camera solutions in both actual environments and various video management software environments
  • Define the product strategy, communicate clear customer requirements for the development department, translate how short, mid
- and long-term business results can be achieved

  • Guide and drive the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product stage. Achieve optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment
  • Prepare and plan, in partnership with sales, the introduction of new solutions, including promotional material and product information in order to generate the largest impact in the market
  • Monitor the business during the lifecycle of the product, take corrective actions when needed
  • Document, track, and manage the engineering process; assist engineers and external partners with technical issues that may arise
  • Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to all audiences including both internal and external teams and across the company
  • Partner with global product development team across time zones; position may require early morning or late night meetings with development teams in Asia & Europe

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or other technical discipline, and/or a technical certification equivalent, and/or related industry experience
  • At least 5 years of product management experience from concept to launch and technical industry experience such as information technology, networking, security, building automation or IOT is required
  • Experience in video surveillance, Cloud, or IoT experience is preferred
  • At least 3 years of postlaunch product experience ensuring optimal quality product standards are met
  • Experience in driving product requirements definition, product planning, and product design (including writing requirement documents) of new product features and enhancements
  • Experience being involved in the process from endtoend, from product production to execution
  • Experienced in giving product presentations to a variety of stakeholders (internal and external), including creating and delivering with the purpose of informing, educating and creating enthusiasm around proposed product offering
  • Ability to be an independent thinker who takes ownership of the business and willingness to be handson
  • Ability to capture customer needs for product interaction design and optimal user experience
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Significant experience working in an international environment with continuous improvement best practices
  • Ability to work closely with technical and nontechnical team members
