- Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments to evaluate residents' mental health.
- Formulate precise diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure top-tier psychiatric care.
- Prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as needed.
- Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling to residents.
- Offer education and support to residents and families on mental health conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance mental health services.
- Valid RN license; completion of Advanced Practice Nurse Program for PMHNP.
- Strong expertise in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Active DEA registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards in long-term care.
- Experience with long-term care communities preferred.
- Ability to travel within a designated area.
- Valid driver's license.
