    Highland Homes is currently accepting resumes for a Product Research Analyst role. This position will assist in identifying emerging product opportunities to enhance the Highland Homes product portfolio. The person in this role will conduct in-depth market, competitor and trend analysis to optimize existing products and uncover target market needs. This role will serve as a product champion and expert, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather product insights and feedback to further assist in creating go-forward strategies and further solidifying Highland's competitive advantage in the marketplace.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and trends to assist in making strategic product recommendations and to highlight gaps in the product offering.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales and Construction teams, and other pertinent personnel, to gather feedback and to understand buyers' preferences and expectations in a home.
    • Partner with Marketing to utilize buyer surveys results to evaluate and understand buyers' current preferences, expectations and behaviors.
    • Provide reports on product performance utilizing plan and option take rates reporting and profitability reports.
    • Carefully manage all timelines to ensure reports are as expected and on time.
    • Assist in creating & maintaining the new product toolkit to serve as an all-encompassing document for understanding key attributes, differentiators, high-level plans, and excitement drivers for rolling out a new product line.
    • Assist in coordinating and attend competitor product tours in DFW, Houston, San Antonio and Austin on a twice a year basis.
    • Track prototype progress and collaborate with Construction and Marketing to schedule photography and matterports for the website.
    • Other duties as requested.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing or related field required.
    • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience, category management or product development. Residential Construction related experience preferred, but not required.
    • Skilled using marketing metrics, consumer insights and data to drive business decisions.
    • Proven problem solver with and a keen eye for detail.
    • Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate (verbally and written) information necessary in order to perform duties.
    • Ability to manage and schedule multiple projects, tasks, and shifting priorities on a daily basis.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to develop, cultivate, and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
    • Proficient in preparing and delivering effective presentations.
