Job Summary:


  • BB&N is seeking a head varsity soccer coach for the boys' team. This is a stipend, parttime position during the fall season.
    This job may also be paired with our Associate Athletic Director for Middle School Athletics or Assistant/Associate Director of Admissions, Middle & Upper School open positions. Responsibilities include all aspects of team organization, including practice planning and administrative tasks. The head coach will provide examples of fair play, team building, character building, and respect for the players. The BB&N Athletic Department expects its coaches to operate within the athletic philosophy of BB&N and adhere to the BB&N coaches' manual as well as the Independent School League (ISL) and the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
practice planning and game oversight,
-mentoring and instructing players in skill development, character development, and teamwork.
-communicating with parents/guardians relevant information regarding games, practices, and other team commitments
-commitment to the support and development of those students with an ability and/or desire to compete at the collegiate level is important.

Upper School Coaching SchedulePre-season Coaches Meeting on Monday, August 26th at 5:00pm.

  • Pre season practices start August 28th.
Post-season play ends on November 17th.

  • Weekly practices range from 3:45pm to 6:00pm, with an occasional morning practice.

Fall Holidays when school is not in session include:
Rosh Hashanah

  • Yom Kippur
  • Indigenous Peoples Day

Compensation:
$12, $14,500.00 season-long stipend
