Human Resource Leave and Benefits Specialist - Springfield, MA

Responsible for receiving collecting confidential sensitive medical information reporting benefit compliance Responsible for critical functions of the HR Department Assists Information Benefits manager in matters involving un-employment Worker's Compensation all LOAs for all SPS employees Works closely third party agency on unemployment claims provides detailed information reports as needed Coordinates unemployment hearings gathers necessary documents each hearing Provides constant communication schools regarding accident reports absences due to work related injury medical approvals returning work Processes all accident reports leave requests unemployment claims responsible follow-up communication Assists Information Benefits Manager compliance medical leaves absence SPS staff responsible short long term medical leave correspondences Provides HR Administrators necessary documentation leave review approval Enters maintains data Munis Kronos other HRIS systems Assists supports processing sick bank requests responses Performs confidential nature ensures communications processed appropriate manner Maintains confidential personnel files Greets visitors courteously determines needs directs appropriately Operates fax copy machines duplicate forms bulletins notices agendas required Performs duties assigned Chief Human Resources other Human Resources Administrative Staff
