Payroll Benefits Specialist - Windsor

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will be responsible for providing managers and employees with a broad range of administrative support related to payroll, benefit and leave of absences.

Responsibilities
- Process multi-state semi monthly pay roll start to finish Prepare maintain pay roll records audits employee time files identify errors inconsistencies omissions in areas work responsibility Ensure accuracy data transferred Kronos HRIS system pay roll system Ensure employee benefit deduction amounts accurately reflected in pay rollelectronically transmit file investigate resolve discrepancies Process all long term absences determine eligibility Family Medical Leave FMLA temporary disability leave Provide employees required notices timely manner Counsel with employees supervisors concerning leave benefits provide accurate information deductions relating absence medical certification requirements returnwork dates etc Work collaboratively HR Team Finance department process coordinate all employee leaves absences including those relating workers compensation claims Assist workers administration Maintain confidentiality keep human resource confidential
+Qualifications and Competencies
- Associate degree equivalent experience 4+ years Pay Roll Experience Benefits Experience plus Experience processing multi state payroll preferred Experience working multifaceted HRIS platform Kronos preferred Outstanding customer service skills ability anticipate employee management needs Highly adaptable outstanding attention detail follow through Ability maintain confidentiality exercise utmost discretion Excellent problem solving judgement skills Strong interpersonal ability work independently under pressure Ability handle prioritize multiple tasks meet deadlines Knowledge safety policies related reporting plus
