Hourly Pay:*$32.58 per hour

Summary:

HomeboundTeacher is a part of a team of teachers who are willing to provide instruction to students who are unable to access educational services in their school of attendance. Need for teachers is dependent upon student referrals. May accept as few as one case at at time or a full forty hour workload.

ESY will run FULL DAYS for 7 hours Monday through Thursday, from June 3rd, 2024 through June 27, There are no classes on Monday June 19th). All ESY staff must be available for the entirety of ESY programming. PTO is not available during the summer.

Responsibilities:

Provide instruction in the family home or agreed upon alternate location.
Required to work with at least one student during the school year to be eligible for ongoing referrals.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree
Must have a valid Colorado Teaching License
Minimum of one year experience
Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English
Completed and submitted BVSD online application

Preferred:

Knowledge of and deep belief in inclusion in the general education classroom for all students, including those on an IEP and/or learning English
Proficient in PC Operations, skilled in Google (Gmail, Calendar, and Drive) and Microsoft Office

Salary Information:

Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.

BVSD engages in a salary placement process vs. a salary negotiation process. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience and education. All salaries are set by Human Resources based on a review of qualifications compared to the requirements on the job description; therefore listing all related education and experience on your application is recommended.
