Position Summary:

The
Housekeeper / Environmental Services Associate I will be responsible for the cleanliness and service of hospital facilities. Work in assigned areas (patient care, offices, stairs, elevator, and others) inside and outside buildings. Care of cleaning equipment, effective expenditure of supplies (soaps, disinfectants, finishes, abrasive, polishes, and other cleaning supplies).
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness by utilizing the Seven Step Cleaning procedure on a daily basis.

The Seven Step Cleaning Procedure is as follows:

empty trash, high dust, damp wipe horizontal surfaces using germicidal cleaner, clean bathroom, dust mop, wet mop, inspect room for cleanliness.

Has access to clean supply areas including, but not limited to IV solutions, needles, and syringes for the purpose of obtaining and restocking linen and/or supplies
Must be able to handle cart and various other items weighing up to 70lbs.

Shift:

Full-time, Evening shift - (40 hrs per week)

Hours: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Every other weekend required
