POSITION TITLE:
Concierge Director
:
Responsible for carrying out transportation programs according to the recreation calendar, medical transportation, and personal transportation requests.

These responsibilities include but are not limited to, maintaining vehicles, completing inspection reports weekly, maintaining transportation records, and understanding and promoting concierge services and positive resident and guest relations and communication.

Maintain positive professional relations with employees, residents, and family members.


REPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial:
Purchasing and supply expense management. Revenue tracking

  • Operations:
Ensure transportation occurs timely and as scheduled per the calendar, and appointment. Utilize an energetic approach when communicating with residents. Ensure resident transportation schedule is carried out routinely and effectively. Work with operations team to develop services and revenues. Assist Social Program Director with outside programs that require transportation.

  • Resident Focus:
Get acquainted with every resident and complete resident interest survey to be able to better plan programs.

  • Record keeping:
  • Vehicle Inspection Report
  • Turn in weekly to the Executive Director.


  • Revenue tracking

  • Complete applicable form for transportation charges, if applicable and submit to the business office.


  • Expense tracking

  • Ability to use Checkbook system.


  • Inventory management

  • Create and coordinate transportation calendar, requests, and scheduling with other drivers if applicable.
  • Guests Relations:
Greet all prospects, family and friends, vendors, and other visitors. Assist residents with questions and concerns.

  • Communication:
Communicates to all staff any changes in resident status. Communicates resident concerns or needs to the appropriate department director and Executive Director. Writes and reads updates in the Front Desk Communication Log every shift.

  • Emergency Response:

Answers resident emergency call system and contacts police, fire, or ambulance as necessary and as directed by the Executive Director.

Contacts family members or other responsible parties to report resident emergencies as directed by the Executive Director

  • Move-In Coordination:
Securely store new resident's keys, and access fobs. Securely store resident information sheets and photo.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least one year of commercial driving experience or equivalent experience and education.
  • Knowledge of local area.
  • Exhibits an energetic demeanor with a caring, compassionate attitude.
  • Ability to direct, supervise, and coordinate the work of others and motivate for positive performance.
  • Possesses sound organizational and time management skills.
  • Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Ability to utilize the computer and related software programs.
  • Ability to work schedules as warranted by activities, events, and transportation needs.
  • Possesses a valid Commercial Driver's License with a passenger "p" endorsement.
  • Must conform to Statutory requirements for Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDL's).
  • Must be at 25 years old or older.
  • Must not have any type A violations; no more than two type B violations or accidents.
