Job Summary

Christ Lutheran Church and School is looking for passionate people who love working with kids in our school's summer camp.

This person works within a team environment with the goal of creating a great summer program for all of our students, ages This person makes quick decisions based on sound development knowledge and continues to learn best practices in the field of child development and behavior management.

This position seeks to understand and meet the daily expectations of families, students and school staff.

They are responsible for supervision, engaging with students, participating in activities, and helping assist our summer camp supervisor, families, and school principal (when needed).

Our summer camp will run from 8 am to 5:30 pm. Reporting hours will be within this time frame. Reporting days are 3 to 5 days a week, depending on availability.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and nurture the culture described in the position overview.

Establish open communication with teammates.

Consult and communicate with all stakeholders when behavior situations arise.

Communicate and plan with the supervisor and team on a regular basis, keeping them informed of all activity within the school relating to general business, children, team members and parents.

Maintain accurate records of daily attendance and enrollment.

Meet with the SAC Supervisor to coordinate staffing, enrollment changes and activities planning.

Ensure a clean, tidy and organized appearance throughout the day.

Onsite during the school day Monday through Friday.

Keep accurate records for billing and accounting purposes.

Participate in required training programs, conferences, courses or other aspects of professional growth.
