JOB SUMMARY:


This Assistant Vice President, Compliance Officer Audit & Testing is responsible for implementing Combined's compliance assurance program in accordance with Chubb's business compliance framework.

This individual will work with our business partners to establish and document compliance controls to maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.

This individual will also conduct periodic compliance assurance reviews to ensure that Combined's compliance controls are adequate and effective.

When necessary, this individual will work collaboratively with our business partners to improve compliance controls and remediate issues that are identified through the compliance assurance review process.

This individual will report to the Chief Compliance Officer.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Update and maintain risk registers and business compliance profiles for Combined's agency and worksite benefits businesses.
  • Work with our Legal and Compliance partners to document legal and regulatory requirements applicable to all business processes.
  • Work with our business partners to establish and maintain effective, practical and costeffective business controls designed to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with our business partners to build compliance controls as we enter new markets and distribution channels or adopt new technologies.
  • Collaborate with our business partners to improve existing business controls and improve compliance monitoring and reporting.
  • Conduct Compliance Assurance Reviews confirming that existing compliance controls are appropriate and effective.
  • Where appropriate, work with our business partners to remediate any audit or review findings in a thorough and timely fashion.
  • Work with Risk partners to identify and remediate compliance and regulatory risks with third party partners and service providers.
  • Prepare presentation materials used to update all levels of management on compliance and audit findings.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
