- Provide world-class customer service to Lutrons engineers and designers in a vital role that supports new product development, manufacturing, and innovation
- Program machined parts with the use of CAM software for CNC machining
- Completes asssignments with passion, care, and attention to detail
- Provide internal consulting for tool design, fabrication, and design for manufacturing
- Investigate and participate in implementation of new strategies for raw material, tooling, and machinery utilization
- Identify and participate in improvements for capability, capacity, and cost savings
- Ability to independently solve problems sometimes with little or no supervison and without prompting
- Operate complementary technologies which could include Additive Manufacturing, LASER, Waterjet, etc.
- Journeyperson Apprenticeship Certificate and/or Post High School degree in applicable technical field
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Creo preferred)
- Experience with HAAS and Trak machining centers is a plus

In this position, you will be a key part of a team dedicated to producing intricate engineering prototypes and innovative tooling essential for manufacturing. You will use your technical expertise to machine, fabricate, or otherwise produce components and assemblies to support on-time delivery of engineering models and tooling for our internal customer base. You will work closely with Lutrons engineers and designers to bring exciting new products to market while ensuring prototypes and tooling produced meet the expected specifications and exhibit a world-class level of quality.
