CFC has a need for a Manager, Corporate Administration to join our Corporate Services team.This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays.
The Manager, Corporate Administration is responsible for overseeing the support provided to the Executive Office and the CFC and NCSC Boards of Directors.
This position is the liaison between the Boards of Directors to ensure they have the support needed in exercising their governance duties and oversees the administrative support for the CEO and COO.
As the Manager, Corporate Administration, you will:
- Manage the planning, coordination, execution for all CFC and NCSC Board sponsored meetings, activities and orientation programs.
- Establish relationships with the CFC and NCSC Boards to facilitate effective interactions with staff in support of their oversight duties.
- Oversee written communications with Board members and Committees.
- Manage the activities of the Executive Assistant (EA) and Executive Administrative Assistant (EAA) including their training and development to ensure that the CEO and COO, respectively have the necessary administrative support.
- Prepare and maintain official corporate records, notices and actions of the Boards of Directors as required by the corporations' bylaws, organizational policies and local jurisdictions in coordination with the Legal Services Group.
- Maintain Board management software content and configuration to ensure that the CFC and NCSC Boards have the appropriate materials for their board meetings.
- Coordinate the EA and EAA resources to prepare ELT meeting minutes.
To be successful, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5 years of previous executive office or business management experience required, with 8 years of experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks to successful outcomes.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills; ability to take detailed notes and write an accurate, concise account of board, committee and Executive management meetings.
- Good time management skills.
- Highly adaptable and flexible with the ability to adjust positively to rapidly changing expectations, priorities and work assignments.
- High degree of service orientation.
- Ability to exercise discretion/maintain confidences.
- Personal demeanor appropriate for frequent interactions with all of CFC's business stakeholders.
- Ability to resolve problems and proactively identify potential issues.
- High degree of teamwork.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Board Portal Software.
