    Requirements:

    • Certfications:Certs marked with * are preferred

      ARDMS, ARDMS or CCI, ARDMS RDCS AE, ARDMS RDCS PE, BLS, CAAHEP program and associate in health science req, CCI

    Description:

    Days 8 or 10-hr shifts, Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 5:30PM. Call responsibilities: weekday 1 every week, weekends 1 every 7.

    Experience:

    • Two years' lab experience performing adult and pediatric echocardiography testing

    Licensure and Certification:

    • Registered in adult echocardiography (AE) required and

    • Registered in pediatric echocardiography (PE) required and

    • BLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY required.

    **Will accept ARDMS or CCI adult and peds equivalent certifications**

    Education:

    • Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited approved ultrasound program, associate degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field required or

    • Bachelor's degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field preferred

    • Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.

    • Floating - Travelers are the first to float. Depending on the current staffing needs, the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or at different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary department no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another department in order to complete the contract.

    We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to:

    • Join a team of highly skilled sonographers who are leaders in the field.

    • Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, and use the latest of advanced ultrasound equipment and technology.

    • Join our Pediatric Echo Lab that is accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.

    • Care for patients from pediatrics through adulthood and across the care continuum in spaces that include outpatient clinics AFCH, inpatient units including AFCH (primary), UH, UH Cath Lab and UH Emergency Department
