    Work Schedule:

    100% FTE, 40 hours per week, day shift, Monday – Friday, 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating evening/weekend call responsibility with 1-hour response time.  You may be eligible for up to a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).  You will work at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.

    Pay:

    • This position may be eligible for a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).
    • Additional components of compensation may include:
      • Evening and night shift differential
      • Weekend differential
      • On-call pay
    • Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicant.

    We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to:

    • Join our Pediatric Echo Lab that is accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography.

    • Care for patients from fetal life through adulthood and across the care continuum in spaces that include outpatient clinics, inpatient units, OR, Cath Lab, and the Emergency Department.

    Qualifications:

    • Required: Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program, Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field
    • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field

    Work Experience:

    • Preferred: Pediatric echocardiography experience
    • Preferred: 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography testing

    Licenses & Certifications:

    • Required Upon Hire: Registered in Adult Echocardiography (AE)
    • Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support/CPR
    • Preferred: Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
    • Preferred: Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
