Overview:
TRC is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support our Building Science and Industrial Hygiene practice in our Windsor, CT office


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for all phases of prepping and analysis of building materials for asbestos by
    Polarized Light Microscopy:
  • Analysis of radon samples and preparation of subsequent reports
  • Support of the Air Measurement Group by preparing chemical solutions and analyzing particulate samples
  • Calculate, check and report data in accordance with applicable SOP's.
  • QA/QC Analysis

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of safe laboratory practices, including the proper procedures in handling chemicals and unknown environmental samples.
  • Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology or related fields.
  • 15 years of lab analysis experience with
    microscopy required. #LI-SE1_
