Schedule:
Full Time

Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

General Summary and Job Functions:


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Answering customer phone calls and assisting walk-in customers
• Listening to customer needs and providing appropriate solutions
• Combining a rich product inventory knowledge with extensive knowhow and a full commitment to keeping our customers moving
• Earning the trust and confidence of the customers we serve
• Providing support for outside sales staff
• Regular communication and price/lead time research and negotiation with suppliers
• Quote generation and followup
• Order entry and followup to ensure timely delivery
• Occasional shipping/receiving support if needed

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent time management skills in a setting with potential frequent interruptions

Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and perform tasks in an organized and timely manner with careful attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and rubber power transmission products

Previous experience in an office setting

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
