Inside Sales
Schedule:
Full Time
Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

General Summary and Job Functions:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Answering customer phone calls and assisting walk-in customers
- Listening to customer needs and providing appropriate solutions
- Combining a rich product inventory knowledge with extensive knowhow and a full commitment to keeping our customers moving
- Earning the trust and confidence of the customers we serve
- Providing support for outside sales staff
- Regular communication and price/lead time research and negotiation with suppliers
- Quote generation and followup
- Order entry and followup to ensure timely delivery
- Occasional shipping/receiving support if needed
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills in a setting with potential frequent interruptions
Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and perform tasks in an organized and timely manner with careful attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and rubber power transmission products
Previous experience in an office setting
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
