    Entry Level CNC Machinist

    Summary

    The Entry Level CNC Machinist will learn the trade of a machinist. You will learn to set up and operate Vertical Turning Lathe, other machines and accessories to perform a variety of operations on rolls and other parts to meet quality assurance requirements.

    The right candidate will learn to:

    1. Follow proper safety precautions.
    2. Drug free, safety minded and maintain an excellent attendance record
    3. Ability to set up and operate both CNC and manual machinery for use in metal working applications.
    4. Complete SOP travelers and document daily activities.
    5. Interpret assembly and blue prints drawings.
    6. Must be courteous and work well with others.
    7. Ability to properly rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead crane.
    8. Maintain an organized and clean work area.

    What you'll need:

    • Converting metric and standard measurements.
    • Basic Trigonometry functions.
    • Ability to use and read precise measuring tools.
    • Ability to learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas.
    • HS Diploma or equivalent
