Description

Large Cardiology Practice seeking Cardiac / Vascular Sonographer.

The tech will be performing Echocardiograms, Carotid Arterial, Reflux Studies and Venous Dopplers in primary office and satellite offices.


Minimum Work Experience:
None


Required Licenses/Certifications:

CPR Certified, AMA approved cardiovascular program, one year experience preferred but not required, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer and/or Vascular Sonographer or registry eligible.

Skills:

• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment.
• Ability to take vital signs.
• Ability to maintain quality control standards.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, management and peers.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage interactions with difficult people.

Other Requirements:

• Knowledge of crosssectional anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area of imaging.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Must be able to act calmly and effectively in busy, stressful or emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing.
• Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
