    Description

    Our client is a prominent international law firm. They are seeking a Legal Secretary with Patent Prosecution experience to join the team. This position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at their beautiful office in Costa Mesa, California.

    Job Details

    • Prepare patent prosecution filings and monitor deadlines
    • Manage confidential client information related to patents
    • Generate reports, including cost estimates and cumulative statuses
    • Coordinate opening of new matters and conflicts checks
    • Prepare, file, transcribe, and archive legal documents
    • Manage attorney calendars and coordinate meetings
    • Coordinate travel and logistics
    • Process expense reports and reimbursements
    • Salary Range: $85-110k annually, based on experience
    • Excellent benefits package includes health insurance and generous PTO

    Skills and Qualifications

    • 3-5 years' Patent Prosecution experience at a law firm
    • PATTSY or similar system experience, highly preferred
    • Familiar with legal terminology and documents
    • Tech savvy and confident in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong verbal and written communicator with outstanding customer service skills
