- Review and prepare financial statements and reports.
- Analyze and reconcile accounts and transactions.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee and train junior staff and accountants.
- Collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders.
- Implement process improvements and best practices.
- Assist with financial planning and risk management.
- Manage accounting systems and recommend enhancements.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and provide solutions.
- Support various accounting projects as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Five or more years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and VantagePoint.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with SURI - Hacienda.
