EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
Full-time, 40 hours/wk


SCHEDULED HOURS: 8:00AM-4:30PM, no weekends or holidays

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
:
MEDICATED ASSISTED TREATMENT


Buprenorphine, commonly referred to as "Bup" or Suboxone (brand name), is a medication utilized in CHR's Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program to help people manage their cravings for opiates (i.e.

heroin, fentanyl, etc.). This medication is used in conjunction with other Adult Outpatient services, including individual, group, and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) therapy.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conducts Psychosocial Screens, LOCUS, Cooccurring Screens and Functional Assessments.
  • Collaborates with individuals to create individualized, personcentered treatment plans and
documents clients progress during treatment.

  • Use Motivational Interventions to assist clients in meeting their goals and moving along their
paths to recovery, utilizing stage wise interventions

  • Provide psychoeducational rehabilitation services group and individual for recovery from
psychiatric and substance abuse disorders

  • Support individual with linking and engaging with natural (family, friends) or community supports
  • Develop crisis plans(WRAP) for clients and work with other staff to respond to crisis situations as
needed

  • Provide skills teaching, such as assisting clients in obtaining/ maintaining housing and utilities;
learning how to use transportation services, planning and preparing nutritional meals, engage and
communicate with family and friends, be safe in the community, care for children and other family
members, and solve everyday problems that arise.

  • Provide skill building interventions and support for selfmanagement, selfadvocacy, health and
well-being, relapse prevention, and using community resources

  • Participate in family education and support activities
  • Assist clients to identify and combat negative selftalk. Utilize personal lived experience in
Recovery to model hope for clients

  • Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
  • Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:


Valid Recovery Support Certification:
High School Diploma required. Life experience.


Experience:
RSS 2+ years working with identified populations; self identifies as an individual with
Mental Health and or Substance Use Disorder in long term Recovery.


Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Recovery Support Specialist Certification from Advocacy
Unlimited, Recovery Coach Certification from CCAR or an equivalent certification related to the field of
Recovery Support required or must obtain within one year of hire. Valid Driver's License required, Use of
personal vehicle may be required for position.

COMPENSATION:

$16.7107/hr min to $25.0661/hr max

  • Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or signon incentives. (Please note, for parttime positions this range would be prorated based on hours worked)
