Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Director of Assisted Living, the Memory Care Center Supervisor is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of overseeing the implementation and management of Memory Care Center services and staff.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being of our residents in alignment with our organization's mission and policies.

The Memory Care Center Supervisor is tasked with maintaining a therapeutic environment that upholds each resident's physical, social, and psychological well-being at its highest level.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the daytoday operation of the Memory Care Center with a focus on excellence and compassion.
  • Implement and oversee Memory Care Center services, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Memory Care Center staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Act as a representative of the Assisted Living Department and the organization, embodying professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
  • Ensure the timely and professional execution of essential job functions, maintaining a positive attitude at all times.

Qualifications:


  • College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in social work, case management, or nursing.
  • Prior experience working with elderly populations in a dementia care setting is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated personal integrity and the ability to lead with integrity.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and effective planning skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills for data access, communication, and report preparation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments within the organization.
  • Display patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a cheerful disposition in all interactions.
