    Description

    The Document Review Office Associate will be part of a team of 12 collaborators dedicated to carrying out Document Review tasks following standard procedures or instructions. This role involves certifying and processing various documents by cross-referencing checklists for specific accounts. A strong attention to detail is essential to ensure client satisfaction, quality control, and compliance with custodial agreements. Responsibilities include reviewing loans or collateral documents, managing file processing, and collaborating with internal clients to identify and resolve issues. The chosen candidate will undergo training with the team lead to eventually review 30 files per day, spending approximately 10-15 minutes per file. Project-based assignments will require cross-training. The ideal candidate will have experience with Excel, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

    Must-haves:

    • High school diploma or equivalent with a confident, proactive attitude
    • One to three years of experience in an office environment
    • Proficiency in Excel (previously used)
    • Team player who is not afraid to ask questions

    Plusses:

    • Bachelor's or Associate's degree
    • Finance background
    • Mortgage industry experience
    • Specialization in Document Review
    • Experience as an Analyst or in Review and Post-closing processes
    • Advanced Excel skills including V-lookups and Pivot Tables
    • Customer service background

    This role requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday in St. Paul. It is an 18-24 month contract with the potential to transition into a full-time position. The compensation is at $17 per hour with a $500 bonus after the third month.
