- Conducts regular meetings with respective managers within each functional team where support is required.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the VP, Human Resources to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal resources as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Provides guidance and input on team restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Identifies training needs for teams and individual coaching needs.
- Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans
- Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
- Implements Talent Management process including talent assessment and succession planning.

- Bachelor's Degree
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations.
- Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must.
- Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
- Effective collaborator with proven process improvement skills.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team and independently.
- Keep up to date on technology trends, developments & best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical & non-technical audiences.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills are a must for this position
