Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusaistic people person with a background in Marketing, Communications and/or Fund Raising to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for creating web content and a monthly newsletter regarding activities across the BPDA organization as well as establishing and maintaining contact with key donors, creating and leading fund raising campaigns and managing our VIP ticket programs.

This is a key role that requires excellent communication skills, creativity and the ability to be self driven.


Responsibilities:

• Create and publish web content for activities across BDPA
• Create and publish monthly newsletter
• Create and deploy fund raising campaigns
• Coordinate donor event logistics, donor stewardship and benefits
• Manage & Maintain donor information
• Establish and maintain relationships with local community leaders
• Partner with internal Event Coordinator and Alumni leadership to launch fund raising events/campaigns including annual crab feed, Homecoming weekend and 3rd party events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or 23 years experience in a Development or Marketing role.
• Proven experience writing and publishing marketing content across a variety of disciplines.
• Experience conceiving and managing a variety of fund raising events
• Proven success in cultivating donor relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical skills with good reporting accuracy
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must be able to work some weekends and some evenings

Pay:
