SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The receptionist provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.

The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate departments, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES

  • Answers telephone for multiple calls and directs the caller to the appropriate personnel.
  • Greets and directs visitors to the company
  • Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel
  • Coordinates the pickup and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Orders, receives, stocks and distributes office and housekeeping supplies
  • Keeps track of printers and orders ink as needed
  • Manages Applications of Employment and distributes them to department heads
  • Files employee personnel documents
  • Assists the Human Resources department with attendance tracking
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and printer maintenance needs

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY
The Receptionist has no supervisory duties.


POSITION TYPE / HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Schedule is Monday

  • Friday, 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • Must have a minimum of 12 years working in an office environment.
  • Must be bilingual (spanish/english)
  • Must be able to speak and understand Basic English
