CNC Programmer

Job Type: Full-time, on-site


Salary: $33 - $47/hr


Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operating and maintaining CNC machinery (CNC Lathes & Mills)
  • Following procedures and instructions
  • Collaborating on CNC manufacturing plans and programming
  • Making real-time program adjustments
  • Planning and preparing manufacturing operations
  • Producing precision metal parts using various machines
  • Planning sequences of operations for part manufacturing
  • Performing other directed activities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Team player
  • Reviewing and manipulating complex 3D CAD Models
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD software
  • Experience in AS9100 or ISO9000 quality systems
  • Understanding engineering drawing formats and GD&T
  • Shop practices knowledge
  • CNC code writing
  • Precision measuring tools
  • Computer literacy and attention to detail

Credentials and Experience

  • 2+ years of programming experience (Mastercam preferred)
  • Working on government contracts
  • HS Degree or equivalent
  • US Citizen
