Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company based in Erlangen. With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry. Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and design, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities:

Responsible for creating offers and project management of control and protection systems for HVDC systems (deadlines, costs, quality)
Technical leadership of the C&P offer/order processing team and close coordination with project management, experts in the areas of feasibility studies, software and hardware engineering, as well as test planning and execution
Responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling offer/order processing, including technical conception, scope definition, deadline and resource planning, cost calculation, quality control, and risk management
Responsible for reporting, information management, revision, order processing, and subcontracting
Conducting process and design reviews

Your profile:

Completed degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, or a comparable qualification
Relevant professional experience and experience in project management
Knowledge in the areas of converters, high voltage, and control technology
Knowledge in HVDC technology and plant engineering is an advantage
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
