Line Works Construction is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment. Your role will involve conducting patrols, and responding to security incidents.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Will conduct foot/drive patrol of the yard.
- Monitor the yard to prevent theft, violence or unauthorized trespassing.
- Write a detailed report of suspicious activities or of persons.
- Respond to emergency issues.
- Must always be alert.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to always include safety.
- Will report to work every day and on time.
- Will warn violators of yard rules and regulations.
- Dial 911 when an emergency happens at the yard or with employees.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a valid CA Guard card.
- Have good driving record.
- Must have one year of prior security guard experience.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Can work OT if needed.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Spanish is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and or possible emergency situation
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Must be alert at all times.
Pay:
From $28.00 per hour
