- Prototype Build Project Manager, supports the organization on planning, coordination and follow-up of build and test activities on projects at Volvo Trucks, securing a good status between systems and physical test objects according to project frame.
- Lead, plan, organize and control the Physical Build activities in close cooperation with the project team and PME within Product Development projects.
- Meet the project prototype need of Physical Builds and parts according to specified requirements.
- Manage projects or subprojects with limited complexity within a program or portfolio, from initiation to completion.
- Have full responsibility for defining and managing scope, cost, schedule, quality and risks - and to deliver on agreed project objectives.
- May be assigned to more complex project support from lead project manager.
- Working independently with limited supervision.
- Position requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
- May have a certification in project management.
- Background from Automotive, Heavy Commercial Vehicle industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office Tools, Basic CAD tools exposure (viewer)
- Good understanding of Bill of material, assembly drawings
- Prototype ordering and coordination with shops and suppliers.
