Job Summary:

The Director of Client Services plays an instrumental role as the liaison between the client services account manager and all production areas.

Supervisory Responsibilities:_

  • Manages the Client Services department.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Duties/Responsibilities:_

  • Ensure all client requirements are understood and translated into measurable and effective communication to all necessary endusers.
  • Manage production efforts and facilitate direct mail campaigns from inception to mailing and delivery in an organized and detailoriented manner, producing the finished products to match the client's source documentation and information.
  • Conduct competitive bidding, procurement, price negotiations, and budgeting.
  • Manage project schedules and meet deadlines: set, synchronize and drive schedules in cooperation with the client, internal team, and external suppliers.
  • Manage artwork, work orders, proofs, change orders, and obtain approvals. Accurately and quickly update all documents, departments, vendors, suppliers, and clients throughout the project.
  • Analyze print, data, and mailing for efficiency and reduce costs; negotiate lower prices through gang or program pricing, cost savings recommendations, and ongoing discussions with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Liaison with management, internal departments, and vendors/suppliers to troubleshoot problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Conduct multiphase billing, coordinate cost documentation, invoicing, and postage reconciliation for accurate final billing.
  • Strategic point of contact for senior clients and establishes strong relationships.
  • Work with management team to bring creative solutions to prospective clients and to build the business of current clients.
  • Mentor and develop his/her team and direct them in finding creative solutions to both client and internal challenges, foster knowledgesharing across all disciplines internally to ensure collaborative and informed work.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Works well under pressure
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

Education and Experience:_

  • 5 or more years' experience in a direct mail environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required.

Requirements:_

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay:
$90, $100,000.00 per year
