POSITION DUTIES:

The main purpose of this full-time Autopsy Assistant Trainee position will be to assist the Medical Examiner in the performance of medico-legal autopsies to determine the cause and manner of death.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience:
None.

Note:

Experience embalming or assisting in the performance of autopsies on humans may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience assisting in the performance of autopsy examinations
Experience lifting/moving human remains
