- License to practice respiratory care from the Idaho Board of Medicine required.
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Perinatal-Pediatric Specialist certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
- Two to five years of experience in Neonatal/Pediatric Units required. Minimum of two years of experience as a shift supervisor preferred.

This is a Full time, benefited position. This is a day shift position.
As the respiratory perinatal coordinator your responsible for the development of orientation and educational programs for Respiratory Therapists practicing in the Family Maternity Center, Neonatal Nursery, and Pediatric Units. Coordinates and ensures provision of staff education required by JCAHO and state licensure. Balances time and effort between direct patient care and the supervision of staff providing direct patient care. This position reports to the manager of respiratory.
