- Perform technical or electrical work to troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity
- Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues
- Track and document repairs
- Perform regular preventative maintenance
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Monitor data from measuring devices
- Work in a clean room and climate-controlled environment
- Complete additional projects as assigned (e.g., wiring new sensors, gathering materials, sizing wire)
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and assembling large and small part assemblies and components
- Fill in for other technicians as needed
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP's during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
- Journeyman license preferred
- Pneumatic and hydraulics experience
- 3 to 5+ years of experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Reading schematics

Summary:
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment to ensure continuous production, execute regular preventive maintenance plan (TPM) and modify equipment as needed. This position is focused on PLC controls-related work and will be involved with mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.
