    VanderHyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced and motivated licensed Electrician

    VanderHyde Mechanical is a growing leader in the residential and commercial Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical industry and has proudly been in business for over 34 years Integrity, technical expertise, and high-quality workmanship are the guiding principles of the VanderHyde team.     Skills, Knowledge, and responsibilities:

    • · Install electrical systems at new construction jobsites and remodel projects.
    • · Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
    • · Ability to interpret building plans to determine the layout of electrical systems.
    • · Ability to self-manage and troubleshoot independently on the jobsite.
    • · Leads compliance with OSHA and other company safety standards.
    • · Possess an in-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, and wiring schematics.
    • · Ability to lead a team and work independently.

    Journeyman Electrician Requirements:

    • · Relevant hands-on 3 years' experience
    • · Maintain and hold a valid Journeyman's Electrician License
    • · Possess a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
    • · Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
    • · Ability to use a wide variety of construction tools and techniques.
