Duties:

Be able to identify and communicate situations/environments that may affect resident safety, living and activity to the Executive Director in a clear and timely manner

  • Treat all residents and staff with courtesy and respect reporting any difficulties to the Executive Director
  • Assist residents with questions or concerns regarding: health, wellness, in home assistance and higher level of care and maintain referral lists.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a preferably with an aging population
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and standards of care
  • Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment

Skills:


  • Familiarity with case management principles
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and practices
