Landry & Arcari is offering the opportunity for a high level Administrative Assistant to join its team in their Downtown Boston Showroom.

Working with some of New England's best Interior Designers and Architects, this role is designed for the best and comes with incentives, paid vacation, and 401(K) options.

Primary Roles:


Communication

  • Answer incoming phone calls and field client questions, redirecting them as needed to seamlessly provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Facilitate customer introductions and transitions through personalized greetings and interactions. This can include gathering customer and project information, familiarization of regular customers and interior designers, and general awareness of the current showroom status.
  • Facilitate transitional customer interactions (interactions necessary to transition the customer from one phase of the project to the next, such as the transition from the viewing of a product in the showroom to taking the product home to try) related to internal systems or customer needs. This includes, but is not limited to, product signout invoices, payment processing, customer data collection and in home service scheduling.

Administration

  • Post and Record Payments
  • Schedule and Confirm Delivery, Measure and Installation appointments
  • Facilitate transfers of product between showrooms
  • Contact vendors to check and reserve inventory
  • General administrative support.

Front Desk Oversight

  • Ensure an organized, clean and stocked front desk.

Showroom Support

  • Maintain daily communication with all members of the Showroom Staff regarding existing projects. This includes gathering and communicating relevant information and updates, investigating areas lacking information, and compiling prioritized action steps.
  • Proactively engaging any detail or area threatening the overall customer experience.

Required Skills:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Fast learner with computer oriented skills.
  • Strong communication skills.

Desired

  • Experience within a high end retails showroom.
  • Experience with têxtiles, fabrics, rugs, carpet, drapery, or other industry related materials.

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
