CMS Chemical Coordinator
Riverside, CA

We are hiring a
Chemical Coordinator as part of our growing team in Riverside, CA.

In this role you will provide direct support at or customer locations with our Chemical Management and Vendor Managed Inventory programs.

This is an exciting opportunity in our Aerospace division for someone who is looking to grow into a management role while still providing legendary service to our clients.

This position will report to the Inventory Control Manager.

Responsibilities:

Resolve material requirements onsite, by using information defined by customer.
Performs physical inventory of PPG designated stock locations and available shelf life of material.
Rotates material as required to prevent stockouts and expired material.
Works with Customer to define possible packaging improvements i.e. size, container to help eliminate waste.
Communicates material reorder requirements to Customer's purchasing department and or places replacement order in customer's computer system. Communicates reorder and or inputs reorder requirements with PPG Material Control Coordinators/Purchasing.
Performs inventoryreceiving functions to assure material is available for customer production requirements and receiving inspection.
Communicates with customer regarding QC and HMM Document retention.
Receives materials by manually unloading items or operating forklift to move materials.
Provide leadership/direction for other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

Two (2) or more years of experience preferred
Previous Material Handling and Customer Service experience preferred
Demonstrated ability in technical service and chemical management
Must be able to wear protective equipment and meet the physical requirements of this position
Must possess valid drivers' license
Forklift certification, as well as TDG/IATA knowledge/experience are desired
Highschool Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
U.S. Citizenship Required

The Base Salary of this position is $18,600 - $85,900 Annually
