SAP Technical Programmer/Business Analyst

PURPOSE: Supports the development and maintenance of SAP IT applications in areas like Warehouse Management and Plant Maintenance. Designs, develops, and implements efficient IT systems to enhance organizational functions. Utilizes communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve systems issues maximizing IT systems investments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans, designs, and implements IT solutions.
• Supports complex system environments.
• Assists and trains users.
• Coordinates activities for multiple projects.
• Uses Agile methodology effectively.
• Meets with stakeholders to define business requirements.
• Reviews existing systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Creates system models and specifications.
• Performs in-depth tests for new systems.
• Conducts research on software products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of programming and project management experience.
• Experience in SAP modules and system development.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in SAP, ABAP, and JAVA.
• Functional knowledge of SAP R/3 modules.
• Experience in project planning and communication.
• Knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively.
• Basic understanding of cost and budget control.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Normal office working conditions.
• Operating computers for software work.
• Periods of sitting and occasional manufacturing area work.
• International travel may be required.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Work in a normal office setting.
• Shift schedules with overtime and on-call activities.
• Use necessary protective equipment in production area.

• Location: Greer, SC
• Type: Full-Time
• Shift Schedule: Day Shift
• Core Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST
• Weekly Overtime: None
• Weekend Work: None
• Work Location: 90% in Greer (WFH 60% and 40% On-site), 10% Travel
• Assignment Start: ASAP
• End Date: December 31, 2024
