- Serve as a sourcing expert for specific Construction Services projects up to $200M.
- Lead the formulation of highly complex category strategies.
- Guide cross-functional teams through the strategic sourcing process and the creation/implementation of negotiation strategies for high-complexity spending categories.
- Assist senior management in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level.
- Analyze performance data with suppliers, collaborating to uncover ongoing value.
- Cultivate mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with category and cross-portfolio suppliers.
- Stay informed about industry and market trends by conducting ongoing research on commodities and engaging with industry experts on best practices.
- Develop and upkeep category plans.
- Perform market research and supplier risk analysis to assess the financial health of current and potential suppliers.
- Expertise in Portfolio Strategy development.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in sourcing events exceeding $100M (serving as the lead, building the team, facilitating meetings, leading negotiation strategy, etc.).
- Understanding of strategic sourcing steps, knowing when to employ all steps and when to use a subset.
- Proficiency in Project Management to oversee Sourcing Events through the Seven-Step sourcing process.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, OR equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience in managing civil/EPC construction services category strategies. Proficiency in MS Office Suite software required. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Applicants must be based in Northern California. No relocation. This role does not involve Construction Project or Procurement Management.
You will be responsible for managing Construction services sourcing and procurement, rather than materials. Your tasks will include developing strategic category plans to enhance cost savings, service quality, diversity spending, and total cost of ownership. Additionally, you will collaborate with Lines of Business (LOBs) to create, source, and negotiate substantial contracts, and play a vital role in the Supplier Relationship Management/Scorecard process.
