Golden Berlin is growing, and so is the Berlin S-Bahn network.

With the construction of a new north-south axis for the S-Bahn, known as S 21, additional capacities are being created and new routes are being made possible in the Berlin S-Bahn network.

The main train station will be accessible from all four directions by S-Bahn, the Potsdamer Platz will be directly connected to the main station, and the area around the Gleisdreieck will be reachable by S-Bahn for the first time.

Easy and convenient transfer options will further enhance public transportation in Berlin and relieve the previous transfer hub at Friedrichstraße.

We are currently looking for an engineer as a project engineer for telecommunications technology (m/f/d) in the major project City-S-Bahn for DB Netz AG at our location in Berlin.

The telecommunications systems include, for example, transmission technology for fire and intrusion detection systems, hot bearing detection systems (HOA), telephony/internet, signals, displays, and security monitoring systems.

Your tasks will include:

Accompanying the contractcompliant provision of planning, construction, construction supervision, and testing services in the field of telecommunications
Managing the timely tendering and awarding of planning and construction services, as well as preparing quality gates and stress tests
Ensuring project success by keeping costs, deadlines, and quality in mind, including compliance with construction and internal railway regulations, as well as regulatory requirements
