  • What We Expect of You?_
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for providing material requestion requests and status to customers at assigned customer sites. Tracks, stores, and delivers parts to embedded site team for installation. Organizes onsite storage and maintains tracking system for excess materials. Coordinates all required inbound and outbound material movements. Completes all tasks with precision while ensuring safe practices are upheld.

  • Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers.
  • Performs installation and troubleshooting on vacuum pumps, abatement, gas and chemical delivery systems to maintain and increase revenue for both service and sales divisions.
  • Participates in site safety programs to create a zerohazard environment.
  • Works professionally and develops customer relations.
  • Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Understands and adheres to all site fab and Subfab protocol requirements.
  • Comprehends the use of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/ manager and other duties as assigned.

Education level

  • High School Diploma or 2 years of experience in lieu of education.

Relevant Previous experience

  • 13 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration or basic vacuum.
  • 13 years of asset management.

Knowledge areas/Skills

  • Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and enthusiastic, and possess a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to excellence.
  • A selfstarter who can set priorities, demonstrate initiative and the ability to get the job done. Must be capable of following instructions and exercising good independent judgment when appropriate.
  • Possess excellent customer interfacing and communication skills.
  • Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams. Competent in the use of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools. Possess basic computer skills which includes thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • May be required to work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods of time. Will be required to complete training to work at height (please confirm is this is correct word) using approved fall protection equipment.
  • Successful completion of Physical Capability assessment Drug screen required.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
