Description

Our growing Anesthesia Billing and Management Company is in need of a full time billing specialist. We are looking for a detail oriented individual to work in all aspects of our medical billing processes.

While a Bachelor degree is preferred, a high school diploma with some college level education or equivalent medical billing experience will be accepted.

Hybrid work schedule is available after training period.


Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical records and documentation to ensure accurate billing
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid, denied, or incorrectly processed claims
• Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries and disputes
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Edit and update internal process spreadsheets
• Answer office phones and perform other administrative duties as needed

Skills:

• Proficiency in medical terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures
• Familiarity with medical records management and electronic health record systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment

Pay:
From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
