- Supervise payroll tax processes, reporting, reconciliations, and policy updates
- Act as a payroll tax subject matter expert, addressing complex tax issues, and ensuring compliance with tax laws
- Oversee multi-state/multi-company tax accounts and manage employment tax processing
- Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary data to auditors
- Maintain bonus trackers, workers' compensation rates, and state unemployment rates
- Support corporate tax, legal, and management with payroll tax data requests
- Demonstrate the company's values in daily interactions with guests and team members
- Undertake other assigned duties as needed
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Fundamental Payroll Certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum ten years' experience in multi-state and Canadian payroll
- Minimum three years' experience in a payroll leadership role
- Proficiency in payroll and timekeeping system software
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Expertise in report writing, data extraction, and payroll systems
- Basic programming knowledge and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Capable of handling confidential information with integrity
