    Description

    Senior Data Scientist at Walmart eCommerce

    We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to be part of the dynamic Walmart eCommerce Product Analytics team. Your main responsibility will involve crafting and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance our eCommerce product range and customer experience.

    What You'll Do:

    • Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to dissect large, intricate data sets to solve business challenges and uncover fresh possibilities
    • Oversee experimentation for Walmart eCommerce products and collaborate with diverse teams to extract data-driven insights and recommendations
    • Build a strong grasp of our customers, products, and business operations to steer data-informed decisions
    • Lead various projects and domains while managing and mentoring a team of data scientists

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's or equivalent degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
    • 4-6 years of experience in a data science or analytics role
    • Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, optimization, and experimentation techniques
    • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python or R
    • Excellent communication abilities to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
