    We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join the company, a premier supplier in Sparks, NV USA 89431. While working in this clean, and not climate-controlled facility you will have the opportunity to be directly involved in the evolution of the industry.     Grounds Maintenance

    • Follow established watering schedule to ensure the grounds and receiving sufficient water during growing seasons
    • Repair all irrigation systems as needed including control systems
    • Follow a systematic schedule to complete periodic fertilization of grounds
    • Prune shrubs and trees of branches to ensure proper growth and/or shape and to maintain aesthetic value
    • Mowing and edging to be competed weekly per the established schedule
    • Weed abatement should be concentrated during non-growing seasons to ensure minimum weed growth
    • Leaves and debris will be picked up as necessary to keep the landscape free and clean

    Snow and Ice Removal

    • Ensure all walkways, are free from hazards, snow and ice at all times
    • Remove icicles from buildings, entrances and exits
    • Maintain all public areas in a safe and easily negotiated fashion.
    • Apply sand and /or ice melt as needed for safety of clients, staff and visitors.

    Preventative Maintenance

    • Maintain a preventive maintenance program on all ground's equipment
    • Maintain efficient trouble-free operation of equipment at all times
    • Maintain full records on equipment.

    Training

    • Attends and completes all training mandated by State, Division, Licensing bodies and Agency policy.

    Safety

    • Fulfills State's/department's safety program requirements. Observes applicable safety rules. Keeps work areas free of unnecessary hazards.
    • Wears and uses, when appropriate, required safety equipment.
    • Maintains work habits and appropriate attitudes that will protect other employees and self.

    Professionalism

    • Adapts and adjusts well to assigned duties and/or changes in duties without a reduction in work performance. Willingly accepts special projects and other tasks as assigned. Able to utilize problem solving skills independently. Demonstrates satisfactory learning ability and is competent in skills and performance. Able to determine what needs to be done and accomplishes tasks easily and confidently.
    • Able to work cooperatively with co-workers. Does not complain when under pressure. Remains calm, thoughtful and courteous when dealing with others.
    • Does not respond impulsively, accepts authority, and participates without supervisory prodding.
    • Creates a welcoming environment for consumers, patients, and co-workers.
    • Able to visualize what effect decisions will have and is able to act appropriately after considering consequences.

    Privacy and Confidentiality

    • Complies with federally mandated the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) rules and regulations as they pertain to Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAMHS) and in accordance with NNAMHS policies and procedures and federal requirements.
