Description:

Position: Adoption Specialist

Status: Salaried/Exempt

General Description:

Working under the guidance of the Program Director, the Adoption Specialist plays a crucial role in providing adoption services in accordance with the regulations of relevant local, state, and federal authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the process to secure permanent homes for children through adoption.
Handle adoption inquiries, recruit adoptive parents, and manage necessary registrations.
Coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure smooth adoption procedures.
Ensure timely completion of all required paperwork and reports.
Participate in various meetings, assessments, and community engagements.
React promptly to any potential emergencies within the scope of work.
Conduct training sessions for adoptive and foster families when needed.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Core Responsibilities:

Foster a positive work environment.
Conduct oneself professionally and respectfully in all interactions.
Engage in necessary training and Agency activities.
Support special projects and additional tasks as necessary.
Adhere to the Agency's Employment Policies & Standards of Conduct.
Maintain confidentiality on all Agency matters.
